[美東颶風] 海倫颶風強襲美東南 土石流狂瀉視頻曝光
美國東南部海倫颶風（Helene）近期襲擊美國東南部，造成百萬人斷電與土石流，摧毀了道路和橋梁，並從佛州到維吉尼亞州引發嚴重洪災。自昨（29日）開始，各州政府開始大規模的清理和恢復工作，死亡人數已上升自至少90人。

據路透社報導，海倫颶風的強風、暴雨在北卡羅來納州、南卡羅來納州、喬治亞州、佛羅裡達州、田納西州和維吉尼亞州至少造成90人死亡。死亡人數更可能不斷上升。
由於部分地區的行動通信基地台倒塌，數百人仍無法與親人取得聯系，被列為失聯狀態。保險公司和預測機構在周末表示，損失估計范圍從150億美元（約4750億新台幣）到超過1000億美元（約3兆1000億新台幣）不等，排水系統、通信和交通路線都受到影響。
北卡羅來納州出現30人死亡，災區更需向州政府申請緊急食物和飲用水。此外，電力中斷，人們需排隊等待數小時加油。“雜貨店關門了，手機信號也沒了，”62歲的市民弗蘭克（Chip Frank）在排隊等了叁個小時後表示。“現在全看這些加油站了。如果沒有油，哪裡也去不了，這感覺真是可怕”。
而在田納西州東邊的壹位居民更在周日近距離拍下了土石流從山上瞬間狂瀉的驚悚視頻。
